Michael W. Reap will serve as Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, replacing Attorney Catherine L. Hanaway, whose resignation is effective today.

Reap, 63, is a native of St. Louis. He received his law degree from St. Louis University Law School in 1970.
